The Project is designed as a modern-day micro-community within a larger community surrounding the site. It accommodates mostly families with young children who attend the school on the opposite corner of the site. The aim of the design is to create a campus-like building where shared programs such as studying and relaxing have been exported outside of the units to create a sophisticated sense of community. A proposed art gallery at the corner of Farmdale and Expo  showcases the work of local artists and promotes arts education throughout the neighbourhood.
